My Spring TBR

My Spring TBR

Happy first day of spring bookworms! It’s slowly starting to get warmer here in Colorado, though I’m pretty sure it snowed yesterday. But I’m excited for spring and summer and the warmer weather. I’m also excited about all the books that have come out recently or that are coming out soon! I feel like there have been so many good books being released lately and I just want to read them all. I wish I could read a new book every day but that’s just not possible (if you have that superpower could ya please share with the rest of us?) my TBR keeps growing and growing and growing and I’m probably drowning in it, but I’m also LOVING all of the great books I’ve been reading lately. This post is all about the top books that are on my TBR that I really really really am going to read in the next few months.

A Court of Frost and Starlight

To be honest, I’m not 100% sure how I feel about this novella. I love the ACOTAR series so, yes, I’m excited to be in that world again, but we’ll see how this one goes. That being said I’m a sucker for Rhysand so I’ll definitely be reading this one once it hits the shelves in May.

The Hazel Wood

I’ve heard so many good things about The Hazel Wood and I’m currently listening to the audiobook and it’s so creepy and wonderful and I never want it to end but I also want to know what’s going on.

Scythe

I keep seeing this book everywhere and right now it’s really on the top of my list, just waiting for it to come in from the library or I’ll end up buying it. But a dystopian world where everything is perfect and there are people who are trained to be Scythes (who kill people) just sounds super interesting. Plus… this book has a lot of hype and I just really want to read it. And just look at that cover!!

Chasing Slow

I bought this book back in January and I’d really love to read it. I love memoir/personal growth books and I cannot wait to read this one. Plus, this book is gorgeous!

Living Well Spending Less: 12 Secrets of the Good Life

I love Ruth’s blog and this year one of my goals is to spend less and really focus on the good things I have in life! (One goal that I have in regards to buying books is that I can only buy a new book after I’ve read 10 that I already have) But I’m super excited to dive into this book and focus on the things that matter most!

Furyborn

I received Furyborn via the publisher on NetGalley. I think this one comes out in April or May but I cannot wait to read it! I actually don’t know anything about it (I think I read the summary when I requested it, but now I can’t remember) but I’m excited to dive into this one!

Ever The Brave

I read Ever the Hunted last year and LOVED this story and this world. I’m currently just waiting for Ever the Brave to come from the library and then I’ll be reading it. Full of magic and mystery I am ready to get back into this world.

Children of Blood and Bone

This is one of my most anticipated reads of 2018. I was intrigued when I first read the synopsis and saw the cover and now that people have been reading it I’ve heard so many good things. This will be my next purchase I am sure. Hoping to read this one in April.

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda

I wanted to read this one before I go see Love, Simon and I’m currently reading it and I cannot put it down and as soon as I finish this blog post I’m planning to go and read (and finish) this one. And yes, I’m aware of that terrible run on sentence but I love this book so much and I need to learn how to type faster so I can get back to reading.

The Cruel Prince

Again, another book that has a lot of hype but this one has been on my TBR since I heard about it. I’m hoping it lives up to its hype and that it will be as amazing as everyone has been saying it is.

Basically, over the next few months, I’m really hoping to catch up on a lot of the new releases that I haven’t been able to read, as well as reading some personal growth books that I hope will inspire me to be a better person!

What are you planning to read this spring? How do you manage your TBR? I’m a big mood reader, so having seasonal TBR’s helps me stay on track a little more than monthly TBR’s. Are you a mood reader?
